About Us

Katherine (Kathy) Kemp Jensen obtained her Life and Health License in 1988.  She is the principal of KKJ Consulting, LLC, specializing in Medicare Insurance consultations representing multiple companies.  Prior to starting KKJ Consulting, she spent thirty two years working for a major insurance company working with independent agencies in a management/consulting position.  

Having retired from that corporate position she has chosen to dedicate her business to helping clients choose their Medicare options.  She recognizes that there are different approaches to each client's situation. Her desire is for her clients to be informed of their options and to assist them to find the most cost-effective solutions for their needs. 

She holds the LUTCF (Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow), CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care), and CMIP ® (Certified Medicare Insurance Planner) professional designations.  She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, and Florida.  She is available to assist with Medicare Insurance consultations in Pennsylvania and New York.

A western New York native, Katherine lives just over the border in Pennsylvania with her husband, Fred and dog, Dandy. When not working she enjoys gardening, nature photography, her horses, and watching football.
